Good lunch stop on our way to Wales from London off the M4 and dog friendly. Good choice of food and the sandwiches were proper sandwiches - nice soft thick cut bread well filled. Friendly staff too

First visit to the cafe and had a wonderful cooked brekkie, beautifully presented and just the right amount. Loved the ambience and the feel of the place, all the wooden seating with lots of cushions and twinkly lights! My only criticism would be the coffee. I feel that a local farm shop should be show casing some local coffee and not Lavaza coffee which is always ok if you like it black but is pretty weak and feeble in any other coffee. Please try to support a local roastery, there are plenty about which produce much better coffee then Lavaza!

Very busy with cyclists. Reserved tables don't help visitors so we only had a coffee and left. They could have had a lot more food sales with 6 people ?

Great little local cafe.Dog friendly, great coffee, and alpacas!!
When busy expect slow service. Soup of the day can be warm at best. Bread a little industrial. Nothing special. Helpful staff. Good selection on the menu. There are better places close by.

Amazing afternoon tea! In fact probably the best afternoon tea I have had in a long time. Thank you so much! I would highly recommend going to Burton Farm Shop. The staff were really friendly and the cafe inside is beautifully decorated. Will definitely be visiting again.

Popped in for breakfast with my wife and daughter and grandson on Mother's Day. The café was busy, but there was plenty of seating outside under a tented area. The staff were young, extremely polite, and helpful. We ordered a large breakfast, and it was large, so we didn't want to eat for the rest of the day!The only improvement I can suggest is that customers are given something with their table number to take with them to display on the table. The staff were sometimes running around in circles, calling out table numbers for customer orders. A wooden spoon with a number on would have made a lot of difference to the efficiency of service. Our grandson enjoyed taking photos of the pygmy goats, sheep, donkeys, and llamas in the adjacent field.I would definitely go there again next time we are out that way.

Lovely little farm shop and cafe for the family. Booked ahead and were super accommodating when traffic made us late. Nice food but were all out of milkshakes and smoothies when we ordered. Amazing cakes and great little Christmassy gift shop. Overall a nice place to get some lunch.

The food was nice. They did not have the first 2 things my partner asked for on the menu on a Saturday lunch time. Take a coat if going when cold as not very warm in there and be prepared for your sat nav to take you around the country lanes. Did not have any but the cakes looked amazing.

Having visited a number of times, I was sadly really disappointed during my last and recent visit. Whilst clearing the table, a half full bottle of drink was cleared. I didn’t realise initially, but when I did I asked if it could be found and given back. The reply was that it couldn’t be found, no resolution suggested so I asked for another bottle as they’re pretty expensive and I didn’t feel that I should just have paid for quarter of a glass through no fault of mine! The lady I spoke to said she’d speak to the manager and minutes later a bottle was placed on the table without a word, no apology not even an acknowledgment, by someone clearly not happy in their job! This one person was also pretty rude when my friend ordered more drinks. I know we all have bad days but don’t take it out on your customers. There was another much friendlier young lady who really was very nice but her colleague was clearly unhappy. The food and drink here is always excellent and we did have a lovely lunch and drinks but this really spoiled it for me. I often meet my friend here for lunch but sadly will think twice next time.

Good quality food, make sure to book a table in advance. It is expensive, they charged me £7 to add 1 slice of toast to 2 breakfast’s (pretty sure they charged me for 4 slices).

A nice place to visit for Sunday lunch. Love the concept of having a roast in a Yorkshire Pudding, very 80s. A good size portion with great veggies. It was just a pity the Roast Beef was a little tough and the Roast Potatoes appeared to have been finished in a deep fat fryer.
Lovely barn conversion (modern industrial barn not quaint old one) into a great farm shop. You can only see the underlying bare bones of the barn in the loo area. I had a great proper bit of lardy cake. I have docked a star as my cappuccino was delivered to another table and not me and not noticed or followed up on. They were busy but ...Update (Oct 23). Orders taken down the line of the queue to speed things up which was good. Drinks delivered to the table and checked that all were in the right place. Good improvement
